The Nokia 5230 is designed for those who lead an active life and use their handset as their primary source for music, photos and videos. Users can get new songs from the Nokia Music Store or apps, games, videos from the Ovi Store.

With A-GPS navigation and Ovi Maps travelers can get aerial images, 3D landmarks for over 200 cities and terrain map views for pedestrian and drive navigation. The 5230 features a music player with 33 hours of playback time.

The phone features a Media Bar with access to favorite applications, such as music, photos, YouTube or Ovi Share.
